This piece is an installation of ten sculptures, made for a collector's home in Paris. She's a veterinary surgeon and her request was for a wall of birds, inspired by the order Coraciiformes: Bee Eaters, Hornbills, Mot-Mots, rollers and kingfishers, which is her area of expertise. Some in flight, some perching on brass branches. reminiscent of natural history museum displays.
